Ed Breckenridge, from the band Thrice, has been one of my favorite bass players since I was 15 years old, and I’ve always adored his note choice and tone. So much that I even bought a ’76 Gibson Grabber (always drop-tuned to C) so that I could feel as cool as him. This song appeared on Thrice’s 2003 release, The Artist in the Ambulance. Don’t forget to drop tune your 4-string bass to C on this one!
